research paper idea

I am not too sure what to choose for a topic, but I was thinking about doing my paper on idea #4 -- portraying minds. If I do stick to idea #4, I might use the movie The Notebook or A Beautiful Mind. I have seen both movies and seem to be interested with the disorder both individuals face. The Notebook revolves around a woman who has Alzheimers and A Beautiful Mind deals with a man who struggles with
paranoid schizophrenia. The Notebook is one of my favorite movies, so I would be interested to write more about it. I am still unsure if I am going to pick this reseach paper idea as my topic.

freewrite - essay prompt

I think the prompt I will be writing my essay on is the one about Temple Grandin. I would disagree with the statement "Human beings do not really need emotions to connect with other human beings or animals or to behave morally with a sense of right and wrong."

Thesis : I disagree with the statement "Human beings do not really need emotions to connect with other human beings or animals or to behave morally with a sense of right and wrong."

Although Temple Grandin does not show emotions like other human beings do, she does have her way of showing that she cares about cattle by her designs for them.
